Visit Athens for 2 Nights, Join the Classical Tour of Greece, for 3 Nights (1N Olympia, 1N Delphi & 1N Meteora), stay in Athens for 1 Night & Cruise along the Aegean for 4 Nights.

For Travelers who are visiting Greece for the first time, to enjoy the History and Archeology of Greece together with the highlights of the Aegean.

Visit Athens to view the main historic sites of the city, where the Greek civilization was born. Visit Ancient Olympia, where the Olympic Games first started, Delphi that was considered to be the center of the Earth and the Monasteries of Meteora, During the cruise you will visit the cosmopolitan island of Mykonos and the open air museum of Delos Island. Your Next port of call will be Kusadasi in Turkey, where you will visit the Archaeological site of Ephesus. Then you will visit the island of Patmos where St. John had written the Book of Revelation. Your Next port of call will be the island of Rhodes where you’ll be able to visit the Medieval Castle and the Acropolis Of Lindos. Your next stop will be in Heraklion town on the island of Crete, where you will visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos. Your last port of call will be the unique island of Santorini to enjoy its unique atmosphere and views. You will disembark your cruise in Athens.

During the specific trip travelers will be able to enjoy, History and Archeology tours, Archaeological sites and Museums, medieval castles and Ancient Greek Palaces, Monasteries & churches, islands with unique architecture.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1:
Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be transferred to your hotel, preferably, next to the Plaka area, where you can even walk to most of the sites in the area that is an ideal area to walk around Athens.
Surrounding the hill of the Acropolis, Plaka area, is full of coffee shops, local restaurants, the fleet market (Monastiraki), the Central Food Market of the city, The Roman Agora (Stoa of Attalos) and the Hephaestus Temple, The tower of the winds, the Philopappos, Mars, and the Pnyx Hills, "Anafiotika" (featuring Traditional Cycladic Architecture, built by settlers of the Cycladic island of Anafi, across Santorini island) and the picturesque neighborhood of Psiri.

Day 2:
Take a half day tour of the city of Athens that will help you discover the historic back ground of the highlights of the city, such as the Parthenon and the Acropolis, The New Acropolis Museum, The Temple of Olympic Zeus and the Olympic Stadium where the first modern Olympic games took place.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure considering some nice dinner at the Lycabettus hill where a spectacular view of Athens could be enjoyed.

Day 3:
After Breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy the four day (three nights) Classical tour of Greece.
After 2:30h, arrive in the Ancient Greek Theater of Epidaurus (known for its acoustics even now days). Then make a stop at the picturesque town of Nafplion (the first capital of the Modern Greek state), visit the Archaeological site of Mycenae and the Tomb of the King Agamemnon and then drive over the mountain of the Peloponnese, where you will over night at the village of Ancient Olympia.

Day 4:
Next morning you will visit the local Archaeological site and its remarkable museum, until 14:00pm and then drive to Delphi (4:30h, including one stop along the way), past the modern bridge of Rio, where you will overnight.

Day 5:
After Breakfast enjoy the guided tour of the Archaeological site and the local Museum with its splendid artifacts, until 14:00pm and then drive north to the town of Kalambaka (located at the bottom of Meteora), where you will overnight.

Day 6:
You will start your day visiting some of the Monasteries that are hanging on the edge of the meteor rocks, where you will visit some of the Byzantine churches, their Icons and the artifacts of the Monasteries, until 14:00pm.
Then you will start your return to Athens driving along the National Highway with a short stop at Thermopylae, to see the statue of the Spartan King Leonidas and you'll return to your hotel approximately at 19:00pm.

Day 7:
Next day, after Breakfast you will be transferred to the Port of Piraeus, where you will embark your Cruise ship.
Your first stop will be the picturesque town of Mykonos where you can take a walking tour of the town, or enjoy some leisure time, walking along the white washed alleyways of the village. You can optionally take a boat trip to the open air museum of Delos Island. Late in the evening you will sail along for the Port of Kusadasi, in the east coast of Turkey.

Day 8:
Today you will be able to visit the largest Archaeological site in the Mediterranean and enjoy the remaining of the Ancient Greek, the Roman and the Byzantine civilization.
Some of the highlights of Ephesus are the House of Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis, the Celcus Library and the Terrace Houses.
After 12:00pm, you will sail along to the picturesque island of Patmos, where you will visit the Monastery of St John and the cistern where he lived.
Late in the evening you will sail along the coast of Turkey and you will arrive at the island of Rhodes early in the morning.

Day 9:
After Breakfast you can explore the Biggest Medieval Castle in Europe, visit the Palace of The Knights and the Archaeological Museum of the island where you can admire the artifacts of different civilizations for the past five thousand years. Optionally you could also consider taking a tour to the picturesque village of Lindos where you can visit the local Acropolis with the Temple of Goddess Athena.
After 18:00pm, you will sail across to the island of Crete, where you will dock at the Main port of Heraklion town that is the capital town of Crete.

Day 10:
Early in the morning you can walk around the Venetian port, go to the center of the town, visit the Archaeological Museum and then visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos that is related to the Myth of The Minotaur.
After 12:00pm, you will sail to the island of Santorini, where you could enjoy some quality time in the capital town of Fira. You should also visit the picturesque village of Oia that is located at the northern tip of the island, 20' minute drive away from Fira town. Optionally you could take a tour to the picturesque Village of Pyrgos, the Black sand beaches of the island and the Archaeological site of Akrotiri.
Your Cruise will depart Santorini at around midnight and you will sail back to Athens.

Day 11:
Disembark the Cruise and transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home.
